Bill grew up on a dairy farm in Abbotsford. After finishing high school, he went on to earn a master’s degree in animal science from Michigan State University. Bill then returned to the Fraser Valley and, after working in the agricultural industry for a while, established Nutriva Group – grassroots businesses with a focus on innovation in the dairy, egg and beef sectors – in 2009. A short time later, he added Eco-Dairy, a not-for-profit agritourism destination.

A father of five active kids, Bill makes time for family, travel, and fitness.

Breanna is the queen of first impressions here at Nutriva Group. Her warm and friendly personality is often the first thing that people encounter when they call us over the phone, connect with us online or stop by in person.

Breanna lives with her husband and their dog and when she is not busy at work keeping things organized and running smoothly, Breanna spends time mountain biking with her husband and hiking with her dog. For Breanna, “The best views come after the hardest climb”.

Carlos was born in Chile but has called Canada home since childhood. After completing business and logistics studies, he settled into a transportation career, spending over 20 years at a large truck transport company. Operations and sales are his passion, along with staff support. His personal life is based on family and fun. Keeping up with 3 kids’ worth of activities is exhausting and exhilarating at the same time, but also extremely fun. CrossFit, coaching volleyball, and being a multi-sport fanatic is also high on the list.

Jas is Nutriva’s cool-headed, warm-hearted marketing manager. Born and raised in India, Jas settled in Abbotsford where she completed her business degree at UFV and went on to study public relations.

She’s worked in marketing for over a decade and loves the dynamic environment at Nutriva. Outside of work, you can often find Jas reading, writing, practicing yoga and brunching.

A capable, hard-working project management guru, Jenni is Nutriva’s master of special projects.  She keeps busy creating, developing and managing SOP’s (standard operating procedures), systems, spreadsheets and more to help ensure maximum efficiency for our many business units.

When’s she’s not in the office, Jenni can be found working in the health and wellness sector. She also makes sure the family farm and her busy household (including four girls) run smoothly.

Kent is one of our BMT-certified Bulk Milk Tank Graders. He’s been proudly driving truck for over 30 years including long haul, short haul and bulk materials.

Outside of work, you can often find Kent composing music, playing one of a number of musical instruments or spending time in the great outdoors. Kent’s approach to most things is based on one of his favourite quotes: “Never take life too seriously, nobody gets out alive anyways.”

Armed with her Bachelor of Science degree, Lara spends her days running the Nutriva lab. Her many important tasks include analyzing feed, ensuring optimal animal nutrition, coordinating research studies, ensuring quality control on food products and conducting water testing.

On Friday afternoons, you can usually find Lara doing her ‘Friday Happy Dance’ in preparation for a weekend that will be spent with her grumpy cat, baking cakes, hiking, brunching and hanging out with family and friends.

Leyla came to us from Chile with a Master’s business degree from Vina Del Mar University. With her husband and two children, she left her family’s coffee and tea import/export company and cherry orchard behind to pursue opportunities in Canada. A trusted and dedicated team member, Leyla helps us improve warehouse logistics and tackles administrative tasks.

Leyla finds a lot of things are ‘super’…mostly because that word is spelled the same and means the same in both English and Spanish.

Mike was born in Montreal Quebec, he left Quebec to explore the Canadian provinces, with a short detour in Japan. Shortly after, he found himself working in the feed industry. Mike has worked with Diverse Feed Solutions since its infancy and has been an integral part of growing the business. For the past 23 years, Mike has had a goal of keeping the customer happy both on a business and personal level. He believes that there is always a solution to a problem and has a positive outlook on stress. When Mike is not working, he can be found throwing a mean dart at tournaments throughout the lower mainland.

Mariah grew up on a dairy farm in Sumas Prairie so when it comes to farming, cows, feed and forage, she really knows her stuff. Mariah truly appreciates the culture at Nutriva.

When she’s not busy working in the lab, Mariah enjoys hanging out with family and friends in the great outdoors. (Don’t let that lab coat fool you. We know Mariah is reliable and hard-working but we’re told she has a bit of a wild side.)

Everybody likes Misty here at Nutriva Group. And we’re not just saying that because she’s the one that makes sure we all get paid. All kidding aside though, Misty is a great addition to the team: helpful, organized, hardworking and positive.

She grew up in Abbotsford and still calls it home, where she lives with her husband and two very active children. You can often find Misty running, hiking or cheering on her kids in one of the many sports they’re involved in.

She finds Nutriva a friendly and positive workplace. We think she’s one of the reasons why it is that way. “Toodle Pips Me Lovely” is a favourite phrase of hers. We don’t know what it means but it sure makes us feel good.

Scott has a Masters in Educational Leadership from UBC and has worked as a teacher/administrator. He wants to blend his educational experiences, interest in health & wellness and passion for learning into interactive and informative opportunities for all EcoDairy guests.

Scott moved to Abbotsford from Manitoba 20 years ago and is proud to be a member of the Abbotsford community. Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.

Creative and passionate are a few words to describe Vanessa. She coordinates programs, runs camps, gives tours, sets up workshops, writes newsletters, plans events, oversees social media and is often the friendly face that greets people when they walk in the front doors. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without her.

If EcoDairy was a kingdom, Vanessa would be our queen. In other words, we consider Vanessa our “dairy queen”.  (Yeah, we just went there.)
